Anyone who writes fantasy gets automatic respect from me. I've tried. That is to say, I've started, unable to stem the gushing enthusiasm inherent, 'cos you get to CREATE YOUR OWN WORLDS! But ultimately, herein lies my downfall, and why I've never got much past the ideas stage - you actually have to create everything. My need to be comprehensive means a constant struggle to maintain plausibility and constancy, at the expensive of actually writing anything. At all. Ever.
So you will forever have my envy, brave fabricators. But remember this:- I know why you really do it. I know about The Ultimate Goal.
